It’s crafted from 88% Chardonnay and 12% Pinot Noir, which imparts a light blush. On the nose, you can discover delightful flowery notes, hints of sharp citrus rind, and a smattering of orchard fruits. Jeeper is a Champagne house in the northwest of the renowned region, in the picturesque commune of Faverolles et Coëmy. The winery’s director, Nicolas Dubois, sources his grapes from 50 hectares of prime winemaking land, dotted across Montagne de Reims, the Côte des Blancs and the Marne Valley. The distinctive Jeeper-style bottle was first released in 2014, and the winery has sold 3.5 million of them since then - an impressive testament to the wine’s quality. The Jeeper Rosé has a refined, charming palate, packed with dry citrus fruits. There are subtle hints of raspberry and strawberry, but it is the clean Chardonnay character that dominates, with notes of peach, lemon rind and green apple.
