' The founding president of Laurent-Perrier group, Bernard de Nonancourt, was a French resistance fighter during the Second World War and won a Military Cross for his service. After the war ended, ˜Le Grand Bernard' (as he became affectionately known), built one of the most successful businesses in Champagne.
