Situated in Morey-Saint-Denis, Domaine Ponsot is a family-run wine producer with most of its holdings in grand cru and premier cru vineyards. The estate was established by William Ponsot in 1872 and is currently run by his descendant Rose-Marie Ponsot. Drawn from a small 0.5-hectare parcel of vines replanted in 1990, the first domaine bottling of this Chapelle-Chambertin dates back to 1970. A lightly oaked wine, exuding ripe red berries, cherries and floral accents.
