Géantet Pansiot is a family-owned Domaine based in Gevrey-Chambertin, best known for its red Burgundy. The estate is currently led by Vincent Geantet who joined the business in 1977 before taking on complete control in 1989. Since 2006, Vincent has co-managed the estate with his son Fabien. This release is their Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru from the outstanding 1996 vintage, one that yielded elegant and extremely well-balanced wines, with fine sugars and acidity.
