Domaine Morey Coffinet Chassagne-Montrachet La Romanée 2010 is a full-bodied white Burgundy from the Premier Cru climat of La Romanée in the Chassagne-Montrachet commune of the Côte de Beaune. Morey-Coffinet is a family-owned Domaine based in the village of Chassagne-Montrachet. The estate was formed in 1978 following the marriage of Fabienne Coffinet and Michel Morey – both from influential Burgundy wine-producing families. This particular release comes from La Romanée, a 3.4-hectare vineyard situated in the southern portion of the Chassagne-Montrachet commune. The 2010 vintage in Burgundy is generally regarded as an excellent year for white wines, known for their balance, freshness, and purity of fruit.
