Michel Niellon alongside son-in-law Michel Coutoux and grandson Matthieu Bresson is surely making some of the finest white wines in the Côte de Beaune. From their immaculate 7.5 hectares of vines they make beautiful expressions of Chardonnay that are generous, concentrated and rich yet retain wonderful vibrancy and focus. The 2018 releases are, once again, a superb collection of wines with Les Champs Gain being a particular highlight. Drink 2022-2040.
