Domaine Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet Les Vergers 2011 is a mature 1er Cru white Burgundy from one the leading domaines in the Côte d`Or. Among aficionados, Ramonet Chardonnays are considered true benchmarks of Burgundy`s limestone terroir. Fermentations are carried out without much settling of the solids, while new oak is kept to a minimum. The resulting wines are pure, dense and complex, unveiling themselves slowly. Founded in the 1920s by Pierre Ramonet, the domaine is now managed by third-generation proprietors Noël and Jean-Claude Ramonet.
