Merchant's description

Bélair-Monange is one of Saint-Émilion's oldest and most storied estates, occupying a privileged perch on the limestone plateau just beside Ausone. The 2016 is a wine of real stature: Merlot and Cabernet Franc grown on the purest limestone and clay soils, shaped by a vintage that gave generous ripeness without sacrificing the cool, iron-edged precision that separates the plateau from the rest of Saint-Émilion.
