Merchant's description

Domaine Tissot Château-Chalon 2007 is a flor-aged white wine produced from Savagnin grapes in the Jura region of France. Founded in the 1960s and now run by Stéphane and Bénédicte Tissot, Domaine Tissot is one of the leading producers in Arbois, with 50 hectares of meticulously tended organic and biodynamic vines. This is the domaine`s exceptional 2007 Château-Chalon – a vin jaune that is matured for a minimum of six years in barrel under a layer of flor before bottling. Concentrated and extraordinarily complex, with characteristic aromas and flavours of walnuts and dried fruit. A superb pairing for mature Comté cheese.
