Chateau la Mascaronne Provence Rose 2024

Drink it now. No need to decant. Located on the side of a cliff, Chateau La Mascaronne vineyards extend over 60ha. Here, the soils are worked so that the roots develop in depth and the vine is thus more resistant to drought and does not need irrigation. The plantations are mainly done in a north-south orientation to benefit from the best exposure, and old vines are an essential part of the winery's heritage. The blend is made of 20% Syrah, 40% Grenache, 25% Cinsault and 15% Rolle. The harvest, always early in the morning, is done exclusively by hand. The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, and the bunches are selected in the vineyard and in the cellar, to preserve only the best quality fruits. Château La Mascaronne Rosé is a true expression of its terroir: its quality is due not only to the grape varieties used in its blend, but also to the characteristics of the soils on which they are planted. Its rather typical Provencal color, a beautiful pale pink, shows bright reflections. On the nose, the wine reflects its aromatic character. It is subtle and intense and stands out for its great complexity with notes of small white flowers and orchard fruits, in particular peach, supported by a citrus note. On the palate, it is round and lively, with delicate fruity freshness and a nice finish. It is delicious as an aperitif and with grilled mullet filets or white meats.
