Cellar for up to 3 years. Serve chilled. Miraval is one of the most popular rosé wines in the world and it’s easy to see why from the very first sip. In the glass the wine is a gorgeous pale coppery hue with enticing aromas of peaches, wild strawberries and dried flowers. On the palate there’s a zippy freshness which is perfect for a hot summer’s day along with delicate ripe red cherry and apricot flavours that linger long on the taste buds. This elegant rosé is ideal for enjoying on its own, but it has sufficient structure and acidity to make a versatile partner for food. Excellent partners include ceviche, pan-fried fish, light summer salads, or aged hard cheeses like pecorino or cheddar. Light-hearted and easy-going, this delicious rosé would also be at home in a casual barbecue setting as an accompaniment to spicy chicken. Jointly owned by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, the Miraval estate is situated in the village of Correns in Provence and covers a total of 400 hectares of which 30 are dedicated to vines. Prior to its purchase by its current celebrity owners, Miraval was owned by American winemaker Tom Bove who transformed the property into one of France’s top organic estates.
