Mounir and Rotem Saouma, best known for their Burgundy négociant house Lucien Le Moine, have always had a profound love for the Grenache variety and the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, and have slowly managed to acquire 21 acres of exceptional quality vines across all its 5 villages. Arioso comes from a tiny plot in the prime area of Pignan with vines planted in the 1930s and is made from 100% Grenache. The 2021 is very expressive with red and black fruit with black tea, anise and earthy nuances.
