Domaine de Marcoux’s Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault, sourced from 13 sites and following biodynamic farming principles. The 2004 vintage is drinking very well now, showing subtle notes of cherries and raspberries, combined with Provençal herbs, lavender and winter spices. The tannins are soft, and the wine has a lovely mineral mouthfeel.
