The Domaine de Marcoux`s first vintage was in 1989 and the estate is owned by the Armeniers – a family with one of the oldest lineages in the Southern Rhône. They produce two red wines from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, including this Vieilles Vignes from 100% Grenache. The wine has exhilarating aromas of spices and red fruits. Creamy intensity and concentration, with ample acidity, bark and brown spice, and a twist of orange peel. Generous ripe tannins and great length.
