Chianti Classico Gran Selezione CeniPrimo Ricasoli 2020 is a notable wine sourced from the CeniPrimo vineyard, situated in the prestigious Chianti Classico region. The vineyard benefits from the distinct terroir of silty, well-drained soils, remnants of ancient river terraces from the Pliocene epoch. The grapes were meticulously hand-picked on September 27, 2020. This wine underwent fermentation at temperatures between 24-27°C, lasting 14-16 days, with daily punching of the cap. It aged for 22 months in 500-litre tonneaux, with 30% of the barrels being new. Ricasoli has been producing wine since 1141, making it one of Italy`s oldest wine producers.
