Cellar for up to 7 years. No need to decant before serving. This fun and vivacious Petite Syrah is bursting with luscious cassis, black cherry and blackberry along with a silky smooth texture and refined tannins. The rich, full-bodied profile is matched by a firm structure and long spicy finish with hints of freshly-cracked black pepper which makes this a great match for flavoursome barbecued meats or hearty pasta dishes like spaghetti bolognese. Chronic Cellars was founded in 2004 by Josh and Jake Beckett who decided to combine their winemaking passion and talent to turn top quality or “chronic” grapes into delicious wines. The two brothers grew up in Paso Robles in a winemaking family so their formative years were spent washing down barrels and putting in hours on the bottling line. This hard work sparked a love of viticulture which drives their new project forward today. The Chronic Cellars philosophy centres around using the best of everything. Thanks to their local connections, the brothers can get their hands on the very finest Paso Robles grapes which Josh carefully selects for his lively blends. The duo have also teamed up with their childhood friend whose talented artwork graces their bold label designs.
