Merchant's description
Located in the northern-most Haut-Médoc appellation, Château Cissac is a historic wine property which dates from 1769. This exquisite bottle from the 1989 vintage is a classic left bank Bordeaux, now fully mature. Following a gentle nose of cedar and cassis, there is an elegant entry, with notes of sweet cassis and minerality. Fine acidity and surprising grippy tannins for its age.
