Château Clinet is a red Bordeaux from Pomerol. This jeroboam from the 2010 vintage represents a blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruit was harvested from the estate’s best clay-gravel plots and fermented in temperature-controlled wooden vats. Ageing occurred in 100% new French oak for 16 months, resulting in a wine of immense power and structural density. The 2010 season is famed for its high tannins and bright acidity, which provide the framework for the concentrated black fruit and chocolate notes. In this large format, the wine retains a youthful freshness and significant evolution potential.
