Merchant's description

Drink it now. No need to decant. Founded in the 18th century by Count Jean-Baptiste de Cibon, Clos Cibonne is a prestigious Provençal estate located between Toulon and Hyères, famous for its Tibouren-based rosé wines. The estate, which covers approximately 24 hectares of vineyards, was later purchased by the Roux family. In 1930, André Roux, one of the family's descendants, renovated the cellar and reintroduced the almost extinct Tibouren grape variety to the estate, in order to revitalize the company. Today, the Clos Cibonne tradition is carried on by Brigitte, André Roux's granddaughter, and her husband Claude Deforges. The delicious Tentations rosé is an easy-to-drink wine, the perfect introduction to Provençal rosés. It is made with Tibouren grapes from the estate's young vineyards, with additions of Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah sourced from growers in the La Crau and Carqueiranne areas. After low-temperature fermentation in steel tanks, the finished wine rests for 2 months on the lees before bottling. In the glass, the wine immediately reveals its fresh and lively character with a broad and fragrant aromatic profile of pomegranate, strawberry and raspberry, white flowers, and light spicy notes. On the palate, it is round and thirst-quenching, fruity and crisp. It has a refreshing acidity and a long finish that recalls mineral and salty notes. It is the ideal wine for Provencal vegetarian recipes, with a tomato tarte tatin, and Mediterranean salads.
