Founded in 1924, Clos du Clocher is located in the prestigious appellation of Pomerol. It covers 5 hectares of Merlot and Cabernet Franc vines, planted in iron-rich clay soils. The château`s wine is a Merlot-dominant blend, which is barrel-matured for 18 months before bottling. The 2018 vintage has a very perfumed nose, including dark berries, vanilla, liquorice and hints of chocolate. On the palate, the wine is medium to full body, revealing bright fruit, polished tannins and a touch of mint on the finish.
