Clos St Urbain Rangen de Thann Riesling Zind Humbrecht 2017 is a biodynamic white wine from the volcanic soils of the southernmost Grand Cru in Alsace. This steep, south-facing vineyard produced a 2017 vintage with a low yield of 19hl/ha, ensuring immense concentration and a dry finish with only 4.2g/l of residual sugar. The wine fermented slowly in ancient oak barrels, resulting in a complex nose of apricot, white pepper and smoky minerals. This Riesling is built for long-term cellaring, with its full potential expected after 2030.
