From 1992 to 2007, Colgin Cellars produced a wine from the revered Herb Lamb vineyard, a north-facing site nestled in a conifer forest on the lower slopes of Howell Mountain. For sixteen vintages, the estate selected fruit from the upper rows of this site for their "Herb Lamb" bottling. The wine from this vineyard is renowned for its charm and perfume, often showcasing notes of blue fruits and mint. The 2002 vintage presents a deep garnet hue, with prominent aromas of blackcurrant and cedar.
