Merchant's description
Olivier Leflaive Corton-Charlemagne 2023 is a Grand Cru Chardonnay sourced from the steep, south-facing limestone slopes of the Hill of Corton. The wine underwent fermentation and 18 months of maturation in oak barrels, a fraction of which were new, to integrate subtle toasted notes with the intense orchard fruit profile. Expect a dense palate featuring lemon curd, green apple and a distinct flinty minerality that derives from the white marl soils.
