Corton-Charlemagne Roulot 2016 is a Grand Cru white wine from the upper slopes of Aloxe-Corton. Jean-Marc Roulot, better known for his Meursault holdings, began producing this cuvée from a small parcel leased within the appellation, applying the same disciplined approach to élevage and precision. The wine opens with aromas of lemon oil, crushed stone and hazelnut, underpinned by discreet oak. The palate is tense and finely structured, combining bright acidity with a silken texture from extended lees contact. Mineral persistence defines the finish, and in magnum the wine is evolving with measured, graceful pace.
