Domaine Denis Bachelet Côte de Nuits Villages 2009 is a medium-bodied Burgundy red wine produced from Pinot Noir grapes in the Côte de Nuits. This outstanding Côte de Nuits is sourced from 30-year-old vines planted in Brochon, just north of Gevrey. "Tasted out of barrel at the Domaine. Sourced from “Queue de Harang” near Brochon between the lieux-dits of Evocelles and Perrieres, this exceptional Cotes de Nuits Villages is bridled with a lovely, slightly earthy nose with hints of black tea and dark cherried fruits. Good definition as always. The palate is beautifully balanced with good depth, firm tannins with lovely dark plum, cassis and dark cherry towards the finish. Lovely." Wine Advocate, 2011
