Merchant's description

Guigal is arguably the most renowned producer in Côte Rôtie and stands as one of the premier names in the Rhône Valley. Established in 1946 by Etienne Guigal, the estate was at the forefront of the concept of single-vineyard Côte Rôtie wines. His three most famous Syrah expression, La Landonne, La Mouline, and La Turque, are currently among the world`s most highly sought-after wines. The 2002 La Turque presents an expressive nose featuring notes of roasting, spices, meat, and dark fruits. On the palate, it showcases a robust and masculine character with ample volume and an extended aromatic finish. A well-structured wine accompanied by supple tannins.
