Merchant's description

Alongside Zind-Humbrecht, Trimbach are one of the most famous names in Alsace. Established in the early 17th century & located in the heart of Ribeauville. Frederic Emile is a blend of two different Grand Cru sites with a similar clay, limestone & sandstone terroir - Geisberg & Osterberg. Clean, dry & complex when vinified dry, the wine takes on a seductive perfume of stone fruits & white flowers in years when conditions are appropriate for the production of a "Vendages Tardives" version.
