D`Issan 1986 is a full-bodied Left Bank Bordeaux from the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux. Third Growth Château d`Issan is located close to the village of Cantenac. The wines of this historic estate are reputed to have been served at the wedding of Aliénor d’Aquitaine to Henri Plantagenêt, the future king of England. The Issan Grand Vin is a Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend, with fruit sourced from the estate`s vineyards neighbouring some of the most famous châteaux of the appellation, including Château Margaux and Château Palmer. This fully mature bottling is from the 1986 vintage.
