Château de Pez, established in 1452, is among the oldest estates in Saint-Estèphe, Bordeaux. In 1995, it was acquired by Champagne Louis Roederer. The 1990 vintage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. In the glass, it displays a dark ruby-garnet hue. The nose offers aromas of crushed berries and raspberries. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with soft and silky tannins and a long, ripe fruit finish. This wine exemplifies the estate`s traditional winemaking approach and the distinctive characteristics of the Saint-Estèphe appellation.
