Merchant's description
Gently mellowed by the passage of time, this bottle of Dom Pérignon from 1964 exhibits a mature amber colour, with some caramel reflections. On the nose, coffee, dates, dried figs and a touch of vanilla. The body is medium to full, and the acidity is amazingly fresh. The palate shows some lemon pastry, dried fruits and smoked almonds. Impressive longevity.
