Drink It now or cellar for up to 15 years. It is recommended to decant it for half an hour. Located in the Margaret River wine region, a short distance from the Indian Ocean, in Western Australia, Domaine Naturaliste Vineyard is led by Bruce Dukes, a talented winemaker who produces excellent wines, widely acclaimed by both critics and the public. The vineyards are approximately 20 years old and are located between the Margaret River and the ocean. Here the vines, planted on gravelly and clayey soils rich in iron stone, enjoy a maritime climate with cool, humid winters and long, mild summers. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes come from different parcels and are fermented and matured separately in French oak barriques for 12 months, before blending. The wine has an intense and brilliant color. Its aromatic profile is broad and complex and reveals fruity notes of cherries and redcurrants, and then hints of violet and graphite. On the palate, it is linear and full-bodied. It has firm, well-integrated tannins and a good intensity of dark fruit. The finish is long and recalls a mineral vein. It is a wine ready to drink immediately but can evolve in the cellar for a few years. Have it with a nice, juicy steak or mature cheeses.
