Merchant's description

Dominio del Águila Blanco 2020 is a white wine from Ribera del Duero, produced from old, mixed plantings on limestone soils near La Aguilera. The fruit is hand-harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts in oak, followed by extended ageing on lees. Aromas of pear, fennel and chamomile mingle with notes of struck flint and subtle toast. The palate is broad yet finely etched, its texture shaped by gentle oxidation and mineral tension. Acidity runs deep, balancing the wine’s density and length. The finish is savoury and precise, showing the understated complexity typical of Jorge Monzón’s style.
