Eben Sadie Treinspoor 2020 is a dry, medium-bodied wine from Tinta Barroca (South Africa, South Africa), in the juicy, fruity reds style. Acidity is moderate; oak influence is little. Good with bolognese, roast vegetables, pizza, sausages.
Since 2000, Eben Sadie has been producing cutting-edge and characterful wines that have revolutionised the South African landscape and inspired a whole generation of winemakers. An exciting South African red produced from Tinta Barocca grown on a vineyard located next to an old railway line, from which the wine takes its name `Treinspoor`. Spicy, mineral, graphite and earthy characteristics flow into a river of tannins and textures. This is a wine that will continue to evolve in bottle over the next decade or so.
