AF Gros Échezeaux 1988 is a mature-vintage Burgundy red wine from the Grand Cru climat of Échezeaux in the Vosne-Romanée appellation of the Côte de Nuits. Located in Pommard, Domaine AF Gros is one of the leading wine producers in Burgundy, crafting village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines, both white and red across multiple appellations – most notably Pommard and Vosne-Romanée. Today Anne-Françoise Gros’s children, Caroline and Mathias, are at the forefront of the family business. Along with Richebourg, Échezeaux may be considered the flagship wine of the domaine. This mature bottling is from 1988 – the year in which the domaine was established.
