Merchant's description
This 2017 Echézeaux Grand Cru was matured in 100% new oak and offers a beautifully scented bouquet of black cherries, red currants, spices and some floral accents emerging in the background. On the palate, this is medium-bodied wine, with supple tannins, palate-cleansing acidity, silky texture and a well-defined finish. Burgundy 2017 expressed their sense of place to a remarkable degree and this release is a case in point.
