Based in Vosne-Romanée, Domaine Jean Grivot is famous for producing deep and aromatic red Burgundy. The family-owned estate is currently run by Jean Grivot`s son Etienne and his wife Marienne, with the assistance of their daughter Mathilde and son Hubert. Their portfolio includes three Grand Crus. Richebourg, Clos de Vougeot and Echézeaux, where this particular release comes from. The 1999 vintage was marked by good harvest conditions and a generous crop, leading to some excellent wines.
