Château Franc Mayne is Grand Cru Classé located just 1 km from the village of Saint-Émilion. The estate has had several owners over the years and in 2018 was acquired by French businessman Jean-Pierre Savare. Together with head winemaker Martine Cazeneuve, their attention to detail includes hand-harvesting and plot-by-plot vinification to ensure the best quality possible. The 2002 vintage is a medium-bodied wine, with an intensely fruity nose, complemented by seductive notes of vanilla, spices, oak and earth.
