Domaine des Varoilles has joined forces with Domaine Paul Misset, forming Domaine du Couvent starting with the 2019 vintage. Consequently, this particular cuvée has been phased out. Nestled at the entrance to the Combe de Lavaux, this vineyard yields robust, tannic wines that benefit from ageing. The 2008 vintage in Burgundy proved to be quite advantageous, with both red and white wines displaying sumptuous, exotic fruit profiles and hints of spice.
