Merchant's description
Always the most concentrated of the Schaefer Spätlesen, the richness is apparent with pineapple and juicy apricot on the nose. There is a hint of red fruits on the palate that balances well with apple acidity and viscous stone fruit extract. The power all leads to a finish of gentle ginger spice and lychee. The mineral drive means this will age well for 20 years but it's a struggle to not drink now!
