From Himmerlreich and Dompobst fruit, this is a wonderfully expressive with a generous herbaceous character, lively citrus fruits and notes of violets. Airy, as these Schaefer wines so often feel, and pure. The palate shows some rich peach, apricot and soft red fruits at first, and continues a theme of delicacy through a very bright, perfumed and juicy finish with just a touch of salinity. Just about off-dry, this will drink on release and will develop over the coming few years. 0-7 years.
