Founded in 1989 by the late visionary Laurent Vaillé, Domaine de la Grange des Pères was established on land acquired by his grandfather in the 1950s. The estate places a strong emphasis on precise vineyard management and meticulous winemaking methods to showcase the distinct characteristics of their vineyards. Their white wine predominantly features Roussanne, complemented by smaller proportions of Marsanne and Chardonnay. These grape varieties are fermented individually and later combined for the malolactic fermentation process. The 2009 vintage was exceptional for France, with the majority of wines, whether from Burgundy, Champagne, the Rhône, the Loire, Alsace, or Languedoc, exhibiting remarkable quality.
