Est. delivery late October, 2026 Haras de Pirque made its name breeding racehorses before it ever bottled wine, and there's something of the thoroughbred about this Galantas Cabernet Franc: lean, alert, built for stamina rather than show. Grown in the Maipo Valley's Alto Jahuel sector, close enough to the Andes to feel their evening chill, this is a single-varietal expression of a grape more often relegated to a supporting role in Chilean blends. Expect violets and red plum on the nose, a savoury, graphite-tinged core, and tannins that are fine rather than forceful. It's a wine with real freshness, more Loire in spirit than you might expect from Chile, and all the better for it.
