Château Haut Bages-Libéral 2004 is a mature-vintage Cabernet Sauvignon-based red wine from the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux. Château Haut-Bages Libéral is a Fifth Growth estate situated within the Pauillac appellation. It is a certified organic and biodynamic property, owned and run by Claire Villars-Lurton and her husband Gonzague Lurton. This release is their Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant Grand Vin, from organic and biodynamic certified vineyards. "Another sleeper of the vintage, this under-priced, beautifully made Pauillac exhibits a deep ruby/purple color along with a sweet bouquet of creme de cassis, licorice, tapenade, and spice box. Medium to full-bodied with silky tannin and low acidity, it is a pure, expressive wine to drink over the next 12-15 years." Wine Advocate, 2007
