Château Haut Condissas was formerly part of the larger Rollan-de-By property owned by renowned vigneron Jean Guyon, but with time, he decided that this small 15-hectare Médoc estate would produce its own special cuvée. The 2011 is a classically styled blend of 60% Merlot, 20% Petit Verdot with 10% each Cabernets Sauvignon and Franc. Fleshy and rich with Merlot-driven dark fruits, there is also attractive savoury depth lurking beneath and a fine web of tannins running throughout.
