Est. delivery in September, 2026 Henri Giraud has long been one of Champagne’s insider names — revered by sommeliers and collectors for doing things a little differently in a region that often leans heavily on convention. Based in the Grand Cru village of Aÿ, the house works almost exclusively with Pinot Noir from its own historic vineyards, championing low-intervention winemaking and a deep connection to oak. Their MV (“Multi-Vintage”) cuvées are a modern take on the traditional non-vintage blend, built around a single harvest but layered with reserve wines from a perpetual reserve system to add complexity and continuity. MV21 Aÿ Grand Cru is a perfect expression of that philosophy. Fermentation and ageing take place partly in small oak barrels crafted from Argonne Forest wood, a signature of the house, giving the wine texture and depth without masking its precision.
