Merchant's description

100% Shiraz grapes from pre-phylloxera material brought from Europe by the early settlers in the mid-1800s and grown organically and biodynamically on the Hill of Grace vineyard in the Eden Valley. Matured in 29% new and 71% seasoned oak hogsheads for 18 months prior to bottling and blending. Blackberry and raspberry compote on the nose with sweet spice and herbal nuances. Rich on the palate with layers of blackberry, plum and savoury notes.
