Merchant's description
A legendary cru produced from very old Syrah vines aged 40-95 years old. La Chapelle comes from the blending of the greatest Western terroirs of the Hermitage. Look for ripe blackberry and plum character, together with smoked meat complexity. A beautifully full-bodied wine with elegant, fine tannins and a long finish. Superb.
