Merchant's description

Drink it now or cellar for up to 10 years. No need to decant. The award-winning House of Arras is an Australian winery founded in the late 1990s in Tasmania. Its founder and winemaker, Ed Carr, created his winery to produce top-quality sparkling wines, taking advantage of the unique soil and climate conditions of Tasmania, the region with the coolest climate in all of Australia. His wines are now widely regarded as the finest bubbly in the country. A by Arras Premium Cuvée Rosé is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier from Tasmania's finest vineyards. After secondary fermentation, the wine ages on the lees for 30 months, acquiring complexity and a creamy, persistent effervescence. In the glass, the wine reveals a clear, brilliant color with pale salmon tones. Its aromatic profile is fragrant and lively, with ripe notes of strawberry, raspberry, and small red fruits, interspersed with hints of brioche and candied citrus peel. On the palate, it is fresh, intense, and supple, with vibrant acidity and a velvety mouthfeel. The finish is long and juicy. It is delicious as an aperitif and pairs well with a variety of summer dishes, such as pasta with cherry tomatoes, ratatouille, fish soups, and shrimp tempura.
