Indaba's Jam Jar Sweet Shiraz is exactly what it says on the label — and we mean that as a compliment. Made from Shiraz grown around Paarl in the Western Cape, where the warm, Rhône-like climate coaxes grapes to full, generous ripeness, this is a semi-sweet red that leans into pleasure without apology. Ripe blueberry and blackberry dominate, with a thread of dark chocolate keeping things honest. Serve it slightly chilled and watch it disappear. This is the bottle for sticky barbecue ribs, smoky burgers, or a spiced pulled pork sandwich. It handles a mild curry with surprising ease, and alongside a slab of dark chocolate it's genuinely indulgent.
