Merchant's description

Kalfu draws on cool-climate fruit to make wines that punch well above their price. The Molu Pinot Noir comes from Casablanca Valley, where the Pacific fog rolls in most mornings and keeps things fresh enough for Pinot to actually behave itself. The result is a deep, violet-tinged ruby that smells of ripe cherries and raspberries with a warm ribbon of spice and vanilla from careful oak ageing. On the palate it's generous and soft, with ripe red berry fruit, a touch of cinnamon on the finish, and tannins smooth enough to drink now without a second thought. This is Chilean Pinot doing what it does best: fruit-forward, easy to love, and ready to go.
